Key Qualifications:

• Active certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field; Masters preferred
• Prior experience performing educational assessments in a school setting
• Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to special education
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Interpret testing data to identify students strengths and areas for growth
• Develop clear, data-driven reports and recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate supports and accommodations
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, sharing assessment results with families and staff
• Stay current on best practices, assessment tools, and legal requirements
