Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Special Education or closely related field
• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
• Previous experience conducting student assessments in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, special education law, and compliance
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and data interpretation
• Organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Comfort working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
• Interpret assessment data to inform eligibility and instructional planning
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized programs
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) or IEP meetings
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
• Consult with school teams to support quality programming and best practices
• Stay updated on special education regulations and contribute to ongoing program development
