Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician (Texas credentials required)
- Background in educational assessments, special education, or related fields
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations pertaining to special education
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret educational and cognitive assessments
- Develop, review, and assist with implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver impactful support strategies
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and records
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for special education eligibility, placement, and program design
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to inform student support plans
