Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Masters degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Experience conducting comprehensive assessments for K-12 students
- Deep familiarity with federal, state, and local special education regulations
- Outstanding ability to interpret assessment data and share recommendations with stakeholders
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a variety of standardized and informal assessments
- Analyze results to identify student needs and eligibility for special services
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and share findings with staff and families
- Support development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document and maintain detailed evaluation records in compliance with regulations
- Provide consultation and support to educators regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
- Stay current with best practices and legal standards in special education
