Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments in K-12 settings
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal special education regulations
- Strong skills in report writing, data analysis, and interpreting assessment results
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Analyze assessment data and develop clear, concise reports for staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultative support for teachers and parents regarding appropriate interventions and accommodations
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Use evidence-based assessment tools and stay up to date on best practices in educational diagnostics
