Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician, meeting all state requirements
• Prior experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in a school or educational setting
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to analyze data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings with clarity
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret a variety of standardized tests and informal assessment tools
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to identify students in need of evaluation and provide recommendations for instructional strategies
• Develop, interpret, and participate in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Attend and contribute to ARD/IEP meetings, offering insight into evaluation results and eligibility decisions
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with timelines, state, and federal regulations
• Provide consultative support to staff and families regarding interventions and accommodations
