Desired Qualifications:

  • State certification as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Experience conducting formal and informal educational assessments
  • Proficiency in developing and interpreting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Previous work with diverse student populations, including those with learning differences
  • Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations and compliance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive academic and cognitive assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Interpret evaluation results and clearly communicate findings to staff and families
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with instructional teams
  • Support teachers in implementing recommended interventions and instructional strategies
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required documentation
  • Provide consultation and training on assessment tools and special education regulations
  • Advocate for students and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment
