Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need
• Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed reports for use in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to recommend appropriate instructional strategies and interventions
• Stay current with best practices, state regulations, and applicable laws related to special education assessments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise to decision-making processes

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or licensure in the state of Texas
• Experience administering and interpreting a wide range of educational, psychological, and developmental assessments
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, eligibility criteria, and instructional accommodations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adjust priorities as needed
