Desired Qualifications:
- State certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Experience conducting formal and informal educational assessments
- Proficiency in developing and interpreting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Previous work with diverse student populations, including those with learning differences
- Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive academic and cognitive assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Interpret evaluation results and clearly communicate findings to staff and families
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with instructional teams
- Support teachers in implementing recommended interventions and instructional strategies
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required documentation
- Provide consultation and training on assessment tools and special education regulations
- Advocate for students and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment
