Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid credential or certification as an Educational Diagnostician or equivalent
  • Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience conducting comprehensive educational assessments and eligibility determinations
  • Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant laws/regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and learning needs
  • Compile, interpret, and present evaluation results in clear, comprehensive reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with special education policies and timelines
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and related meetings as a valued team member
  • Provide recommendations to support students in reaching their educational goals
