Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Educational Diagnostician certification or relevant licensure
• Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and diagnostic techniques
• Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
• Detail-oriented approach with excellent record-keeping abilities
• Ability to develop and interpret Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret standardized diagnostic assessments for referred students
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
• Prepare comprehensive written reports based on assessment results and present findings to families and school personnel
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences, providing insights and recommendations tailored to each students needs
• Assist in developing instructional strategies and modifications to support student learning and include in IEPs
• Stay current on special education laws, assessment best practices, and state requirements
