Preferred experience and skills:
- Valid certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or related field
- Solid background in administering, scoring, and interpreting a variety of educational, cognitive, and behavioral assessments
- Experience working with diverse student populations in PreK12 environments
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal special education procedures and requirements
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Capable of developing and presenting clear, actionable recommendations to both staff and families
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
Daily responsibilities include:
- Administer standardized assessments to identify students needs and strengths
- Consult with teachers, specialists, and families to interpret evaluation results and plan appropriate interventions
- Develop thorough, compliant evaluation reports and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide guidance, and support data-driven decision making
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established timelines
- Support ongoing collaboration between school staff, parents, and external agencies
