Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field
- Prior experience conducting educational assessments in a school environment
- Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work well on interdisciplinary teams and interact compassionately with students, families, and staff
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation efficiently
What Youll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred to special education
- Interpret test results and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide detailed, insightful reports that help guide instructional planning
- Offer recommendations for instructional strategies and accommodations
- Communicate test findings and recommendations clearly to teachers, administrators, and families
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in educational assessment
