A school district in the Irving, TX area is seeking two skilled Educational Diagnosticians to join their team on a contract basis through May 22, 2026. This role is ideal for professionals with Texas Educational Diagnostician certification who are ready to support student success through comprehensive assessments and tailored educational planning. Both positions are onsite with full-time hours at either Union Park Elementary in Aubrey, TX or Martinez Elementary in Little Elm, TX. Candidates should have a reliable commute to their preferred location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning needs
- Interpret and analyze evaluation data to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to recommend appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide expert guidance on educational strategies that support diverse learner populations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification is required
- Experience working with school-aged children in assessment roles
- Strong ability to communicate assessment results and collaborate with educational teams
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing caseloads effectively
- Willingness to work onsite full time, demonstrating flexibility around assigned locations
Location:
- Irving, TX area with assignments at either Aubrey or Little Elm elementary schools
