Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Texas educational diagnostician certification required
- Experience working as an educational diagnostician in K-12 settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education eligibility criteria
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and report-writing abilities
- Capacity to manage a full caseload and adapt to diverse student needs
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Interpret assessment results and provide clear, actionable recommendations for educational planning
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents during ARD/IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance timelines
- Provide consultation and support to school staff to ensure appropriate interventions and accommodations
