Educational Diagnostician Opportunity K-12 School, Harvey, LA
A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available for the current school year contract in a Harvey, Louisiana K-12 school setting. This role provides a vital service in assessing and evaluating students for various educational needs within the school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments of students.
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports outlining educational needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop appropriate educational plans.
- Ensure compliance with state and district regulations and policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as an Educational Diagnostician is required.
- Proven experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and educational diagnostics.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
- Completion of district-required drug screening and fingerprinting.
Position Details:
- Contract duration from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
- Full-time hours, 35 per week (7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday aligned with the school calendar.
- Immediate availability is essential; candidates must be fully certified and ready to begin without delay.
- The exact caseload and number of schools assigned will be determined upon hire.
