A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available for the current school year contract in a Harvey, Louisiana K-12 school setting. This role provides a vital service in assessing and evaluating students for various educational needs within the school district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments of students.
• Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports outlining educational needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop appropriate educational plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and district regulations and policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as an Educational Diagnostician is required.
• Proven experience working with K-12 student populations.
• Strong understanding of assessment tools and educational diagnostics.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
• Completion of district-required drug screening and fingerprinting.

Position Details:

• Contract duration from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
• Full-time hours, 35 per week (7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday aligned with the school calendar.
• Immediate availability is essential; candidates must be fully certified and ready to begin without delay.
• The exact caseload and number of schools assigned will be determined upon hire.
