Key Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician (or eligibility for credentialing)

• Familiarity with Michigans educational guidelines and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with staff and families
• Ability to utilize various assessment tools and software effectively
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive academic, behavioral, and cognitive assessments of students referred for services
• Interpret assessment information and prepare clear, timely evaluation reports
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to develop appropriate instructional strategies
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP teams, and case review discussions
• Monitor students progress and recommend adjustments as needed
• Maintain up-to-date records in alignment with district and state compliance
• Support transition planning and ongoing student advocacy
