This full-time, contract to hire opportunity offers the chance to support students and their families by providing expert assessments and working collaboratively with school teams to promote student success.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Valid Louisiana Educational Diagnostician license
- Experience in educational assessment, special education processes, or diagnostic services in a school setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong analytical abilities to accurately interpret assessment data
- A compassionate, student-centered attitude and the ability to adapt to various learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of diagnostic results and recommendations
- Serve as an expert resource regarding eligibility determination and educational interventions
