Job Description

A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available to provide essential assessment and diagnostic services within a K-12 school setting. This role supports student learning and development by conducting evaluations, composing detailed reports, and collaborating with educators and families to develop appropriate educational plans.

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day (35 hours per week)
Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
Work Setting: Itinerant role serving two schools, with on-site preference; hybrid schedule options available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and diagnostic evaluations for students, spanning various grade levels K-12
  • Prepare in-depth reports summarizing findings and recommendations for educational interventions
  • Participate in meetings with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or other service plans
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree required
  • Texas classroom teaching certificate
  • Minimum of three years full-time teaching experience
  • Successful completion of the Texas Educational Diagnostician certification exam
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in public school environments
