Key Qualifications:

• Current Educational Diagnostician certification
• Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, Psychology, or related field
• Proficiency with educational evaluation tools, documentation, and the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Understanding of state and federal regulations related to special education
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
• Previous experience working in K-12 school environments is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students referred for special education services
• Interpret standardized test results and diagnostic data for multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and relevant personnel to design and implement individualized interventions
• Prepare clear, detailed evaluation reports in a timely manner
• Participate in ARD meetings and provide input for eligibility and educational programming decisions
• Support compliance with all special education laws and guidelines
