Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Educational Diagnostician certification required
  • Proficiency in Spanish (bilingual fluency)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of special education evaluation procedures and federal/state guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to equity and advocacy for all learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
  • Collaborate closely with full-time LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) and ARD Facilitator
  • Interpret data and communicate findings with clarity to families and school teams
  • Develop and present individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Partner with elementary staff to support student progress and compliance
  • Participate in ARD meetings to advocate best outcomes
  • Maintain thorough, timely records and documentation in accordance with regulations
  • Balance onsite support (3 days/week) with remote responsibilities (2 days/week) to optimize efficiency
