Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Active certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience providing assessments in an educational environment
• Deep understanding of special education regulations and procedures
• Strong communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in conducting cognitive and academic evaluations
• Ability to interpret data and develop comprehensive reports

Key responsibilities:

• Perform educational, cognitive, and diagnostic evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Interpret assessment data and make recommendations to support student learning and development
• Provide consultative support to school staff regarding accommodations, modifications, and interventions
• Maintain ongoing records and documentation in compliance with all applicable guidelines and standards
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to professional development initiatives
