- Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local special education requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret and administer a variety of educational and psychological assessments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultative support and guidance to school staff regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, reports, and recommendations
