Job Description

Empower students to reach their full potential by providing essential assessment and support services as an Educational Diagnostician in a contract role close to Fort Worth, TX. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostician, or related field
  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations regarding special education
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to document findings accurately and timely
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer formal and informal assessments to identify students learning strengths and needs
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports and recommend appropriate educational strategies
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss assessment results and inform Individualized Education Program (IEP) decisions
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and related service providers to design effective intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records and ensure all timelines are met in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Provide consultation and support to staff and parents to facilitate students educational success
