Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician (Texas credentials preferred)
- Master's degree in special education, psychology, or a related field
- Experience within school environments, particularly in assessment and special education
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to special education
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Interpret assessment data and present findings clearly to stakeholders
- Offer consultation and support to instructional staff on intervention strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements
