Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Experience conducting formal educational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and eligibility criteria
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with computerized evaluation tools and data management systems
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized and functional assessments to students suspected of requiring special education services
• Accurately interpret results and generate comprehensive written reports
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Attend ARD/IEP meetings, providing consultation and recommendations to support student learning
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure all documentation meets state and federal guidelines
• Provide ongoing support to school staff and contribute to the overall success of student programs
