Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Proven experience conducting evaluations and assessments of students in educational settings
- Excellent knowledge of educational law, special education processes, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized assessments
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students referred for special education services, utilizing formal and informal assessment tools
- Develop clear, detailed assessment reports to guide educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and recommend appropriate interventions
- Participate as a key team member in IEP meetings and support the development of tailored education plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Provide consultative support to staff on best practices for supporting diverse learners
