Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Masters degree in Special Education or a related field required
• Demonstrated experience conducting educational assessments and eligibility determinations
• Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer, score, and analyze formal and informal assessments to identify student strengths and needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student success
• Develop clear, concise, and detailed evaluation reports to guide instructional planning
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents throughout the special education process
• Stay current on best practices, legal updates, and assessment tools related to special education
