Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician or eligibility for certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of special education laws, assessment practices, and individualized education program (IEP) development
  • Proven experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting data, and formulating recommendations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Proficiency with a variety of assessment tools and educational software
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students eligibility for special services
  • Develop and interpret IEPs in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and families regarding student progress and assessments
  • Compile and maintain accurate records and timely documentation
  • Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist in designing and implementing student-driven interventions and supports
