Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification (Texas preferred)
• Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 populations
• Strong knowledge of special education eligibility guidelines and IDEA regulations
• Familiarity with educational assessment tools and data interpretation
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide detailed written reports and recommendations
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education services
• Evaluate academic, cognitive, and behavioral data to determine eligibility and appropriate interventions
• Develop and present assessment findings at ARD/IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, counselors, and families on intervention strategies and support plans
• Ensure timely completion and documentation of all evaluations in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Assist in designing individualized learning programs and progress monitoring
