Step into a vital educational support role near Fort Worth, TX, where you can leverage your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician to make a measurable difference in students lives. This full-time contract position centers around direct, onsite involvementvirtual options are not available. The assignment will have you traveling between two school sites within the district, helping to identify and support students unique learning needs from ASAP through May 2027.
You will collaborate with educators, administrators, and families, working with a variety of student age groups. Primary responsibilities include conducting assessments, preparing comprehensive reports, and participating in student support meetings. Your insights will support tailored intervention strategies and drive student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in a relevant field is required
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- Minimum of three years of full-time experience teaching in a classroom setting
- Passing score on the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- Proven experience working in K-12 school environments
- Capability to travel between assigned schools
- Prompt ability to clear required fingerprinting and credentialing procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer educational and diagnostic assessments for students across assigned campuses
- Produce detailed and accurate evaluation reports to inform instructional planning
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP/ARD processes
- Advise and collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop targeted learning plans
- Ensure compliance with state and district requirements throughout testing and documentation
