What You'll Bring:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, essential for effective communication and service delivery
- A masters degree and a valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
- At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
- State certification for educational diagnosticians
- Previous experience in a school-based environment, with a strong record of testing, report writing, and attending multidisciplinary meetings
- Willingness to complete all time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting
- Commitment to a full-time assignment throughout the school year
Your Contribution:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop detailed reports to guide educational plans
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and students in both English and Spanish
- Support students across different age groups, helping to shape individualized education programs
- Travel between two assigned schools, enhancing your impact within the district
