Make a real impact supporting K-12 students as an Educational Diagnostician in a dynamic school environment near Fort Worth, TX. This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise to assess and support student learning needs, collaborating closely with educators and families to develop effective educational plans.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification required
- Experience working with students in K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of eligibility determination and special education processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive educational evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Interpret assessment results and present findings to school teams and families
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and other specialists to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding instructional interventions and accommodations
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student assessment and programming
