Job Description

A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available in the Lake Dallas, TX area, serving elementary and middle school students. This role involves assessing and supporting students on a manageable caseload split between one elementary campus and an additional 10-20 students at a middle school, allowing for efficient case management. The majority of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings have already been completed for this caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students in elementary and middle school settings
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student learning and development
  • Participate in ARD meetings to develop and review individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address students educational needs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student evaluations and progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification/license
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational evaluation processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain organized documentation

Location: Lake Dallas, TX area

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
