Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Educational Diagnostician supporting a smaller, vibrant district situated 40 miles east of Albuquerque. Youll be working closely with other diagnosticians, a per diem specialist, and an intern, surrounded by colleagues who truly value teamwork and are always ready to lend a hand.
Key qualifications & desired experience:
- Active credentials as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience or comfort evaluating and assessing elementary and middle school students
- Willingness to share proof of your status in the PED process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of a supportive, tight-knit team
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments for students in special education (SPED) across two elementary schools and one middle school
- Maintaining documentation and collaborating with a dynamic diagnostician team
- Supporting a caseload that does not include pre-K students (caseload size to be determined)
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a unified approach to student support
