Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Proven experience conducting comprehensive educational assessments
- In-depth knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and intervention strategies
- Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and state/federal regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and interpret Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support plans
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a wide range of standardized and informal assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
- Analyze assessment data to identify students learning needs and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop, review, and revise IEPs
- Serve as a liaison between teachers, families, and outside agencies to coordinate supports
- Provide thorough documentation and timely reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Offer consultative support and training to educators on best practices in differentiated instruction and assessment accommodations
