An educational diagnostician position is available in Dudley, MA, serving a local school under a contract role. This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in assessing and identifying students educational needs, providing detailed evaluations, and collaborating with school staff to support individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify learning strengths and challenges
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, detailed reports for educators and families
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop tailored interventions and support plans
- Participate in team meetings and assist in the implementation of individual education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district regulations regarding educational assessments
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse school teams and families
