Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or credential
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
  • Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and state/federal special education regulations
  • Strong skills in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational and diagnostic assessments for referred students
  • Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations

  • Help monitor and support implementation of intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all assessments comply with applicable guidelines and deadlines
  • Stay current with best practices in diagnostic assessment and special education
