Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold appropriate certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Prior experience working in educational settings, preferably across K-12 levels
  • Skilled in educational assessments, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and reporting methods
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide both face-to-face and written consultations with families and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational and cognitive assessments for students in the K-12 caseload
  • Develop and interpret formal evaluation reports to support special education eligibility decisions
  • Consult with educators, support staff, and families to design effective instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations rooted in assessment findings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Act as a resource for faculty regarding best practices in data-driven instruction and intervention
