Job Description

Make an impact in the educational field by using your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician. In this contract opportunity, you will collaborate closely with school teams to evaluate and support students learning needs, helping ensure each child receives appropriate educational interventions.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in the state of TX 
  • Prior experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
  • Thorough understanding of special education laws and practices
  • Ability to administer and interpret a range of assessment tools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to interpret evaluation results and plan individualized programs
  • Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings and provide expert input on student progress and programming
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Offer consultative support to educators and families regarding best practices for student success
