An opportunity is available for an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support student learning and development within a school environment. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students educational needs and collaborating with educators and families to develop effective learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed educational assessments and evaluations of students to determine learning strengths and challenges
- Interpret assessment data and prepare clear, comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Provide guidance and consultation to educational teams on assessment results and intervention strategies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and student evaluation
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations and student progress
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or licensure per state requirements
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments within school settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, guidelines, and testing instruments
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and educational professionals
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports that inform instructional planning
- Commitment to student advocacy and inclusive education practices
