Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Educational Diagnostician, providing vital support to elementary students for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, running from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Youll serve as an itinerant professional across multiple school sites, helping students reach their greatest potential in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification required
• Significant experience as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas public schools (elementary levels preferred)
• Deep understanding of ARD procedures and completion of student evaluations
• Familiarity with Texas state and federal special education regulations
• Ability and willingness to work in-person 40 hours per week
• Successful completion of district fingerprinting/background check prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational assessments and cognitive evaluations for referred elementary students
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, supported by on-site ARD Specialists
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop effective educational strategies
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to help shape student support plans
• Travel between assigned campuses within the district as needed
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all educational standards
