Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as an Educational Diagnostician or equivalent credentials required
  • Experience working within a school or educational setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborative approach and problem-solving mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students eligibility for special education services
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments and diagnostic tests
  • Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Present findings and recommendations in meetings with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation as required by state and federal guidelines
  • Offer consultative support to faculty on instructional interventions and accommodations
