Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Previous experience working in schools or with student populations
• Strong knowledge of assessment procedures, special education law (IDEA), and IEP processes
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide expert recommendations regarding interventions, instructional strategies, and accommodations
• Participate in eligibility and program planning meetings, contributing expertise on assessment results and implications for student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Engage with families to explain evaluation results and recommendations in a clear, supportive manner
