Required Skills & Experience:

• Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field
• State certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician required
• Demonstrated experience conducting educational assessments and interpreting results
• Working knowledge of federal and state special education laws and guidelines
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive academic and behavioral assessments for referred students
• Analyze and interpret assessment data to help determine eligibility for special education services
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings during IEP meetings and staffing conferences
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support individualized education plans
• Offer guidance on evidence-based interventions and instructional strategies
• Stay current on educational best practices and regulatory requirements
