Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and credentials as an Educational Diagnostician
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and identifying students learning needs in a K-12 setting
- Familiarity with current special education laws, assessment tools, and eligibility criteria
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with teams, students, and parents
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
What Youll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and interpret results for students with diverse learning needs
- Prepare detailed reports, serving as a resource to educational teams and families on evaluation findings and recommendations
- Participate in and support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to ensure appropriate interventions and placements
- Consult with teachers on instructional strategies and accommodations tailored to individual student profiles
- Maintain thorough documentation aligned with standards and compliance requirements
