Job Description

Help shape the academic journey for students by lending your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician. This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment, supporting preschool through high school students. You'll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to assess, identify, and support a diverse K-12 student population. The assignment is located near Baton Rouge, LA, and is open to both onsite and VOCO (virtual) service models.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and active Louisiana DOE Educational Diagnostician Certification is required
  • Experience in conducting assessments and evaluations across multiple age groups, ideally K-12
  • Skilled at working collaboratively as part of evaluation or educational specialist teams
  • Flexible and adaptive with strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Successfully pass district background checks and fingerprinting per credentialing policies

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations for special education services
  • Participate as a member of the preschool evaluation team, with potential to expand to broader K-12 caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Deliver services either onsite or via virtual platforms, as assigned
