Job Description

A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available in the Lake Dallas, TX area, serving both elementary and middle school students. This role involves conducting educational assessments and providing diagnostic services to support individualized educational planning. The caseload includes one elementary campus along with an additional 10-20 students from a middle school, creating a manageable workload suited for a dedicated full-time professional. Most Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings have already been completed for this caseload, allowing focus on ongoing student evaluation and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for elementary and middle school students.
  • Interpret assessment data to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators during ARD meetings.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting related to student evaluations.
  • Provide guidance and support to instructional staff on student learning needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician credential/certification.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students in educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and individualized education planning.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
