Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience conducting educational assessments in school settings
• Solid understanding of special education processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in developing and interpreting a variety of academic and cognitive assessments
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and staff
• Experience with individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive evaluation practices

Responsibilities:

• Administer a comprehensive range of diagnostic assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
• Analyze data and prepare clear, detailed evaluation reports
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, supporting eligibility determination and appropriate service recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to develop goals and accommodations for IEPs
• Consult with families to explain assessment results and guide them through the special education process
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with all state and federal guidelines
• Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development in school psychology and educational diagnostics
