Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostician, or a related field
• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility in the state
• Prior experience in educational assessments within a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of special education eligibility criteria and evaluation procedures
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities
• Interpret and present assessment results to educators, administrators, and families
• Develop individualized education program (IEP) recommendations and work closely with IEP teams
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Serve as an expert resource, providing consultation and support for educators regarding instructional strategies and student intervention
• Participate in meetings, staff development, and ongoing training to stay current on best practices
