Key Qualifications:
- Valid credential or certification in Deaf / Hard of Hearing education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children and/or adolescents who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Familiarity with auditory devices, assistive technology, and differentiated instructional strategies
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine students instructional needs
- Providing direct and consultative services to students, helping them access the curriculum
- Developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with classroom teachers on accommodations, modifications, and specialized instruction
- Facilitating communication for students using ASL, oral, or total communication approaches as appropriate
- Offering guidance and resources to families, promoting advocacy and engagement
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining meticulous records

Compensation for this position ranges from $38.00 to $63.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
