Virtual Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Kentucky
Are you a passionate educator with experience supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing? We are seeking a qualified Virtual Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instruction and support to students in a Kentucky school setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional looking for the flexibility of a remote position while continuing to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and communication development.
Position Highlights:
- 100% virtual opportunity supporting students in a Kentucky school district
- Provide specialized instruction and services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with developing appropriate educational goals and accommodations
- Provide consultation and guidance to school staff regarding student communication and learning needs
- Utilize virtual platforms to deliver engaging and effective instruction
Qualifications:
- Active Kentucky license/certification as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with students with varying levels of hearing loss
- Strong communication, collaboration, and virtual instruction skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
