A specialized opportunity is available for a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist to support students in a school setting located in Louisville, KY. This contract position involves working directly with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, providing tailored educational support to enhance their learning experiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing student needs and developing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Implementing specialized instructional strategies and communication techniques
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly
- Facilitating the use of assistive technology and resources
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist or comparable credential
