Job Description

Seeking a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist to support students in a school setting in Grand Rapids, MI. This contract position is ideal for professionals with experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students, facilitating their educational progress and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support students with hearing impairments to enhance their academic success
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students communication and learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to provide effective interventions and accommodations
  • Utilize assistive listening devices and technology to improve classroom accessibility
