A full-time teaching opportunity is available for a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist at an elementary school near Elgin, IL. This contract position focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment tailored to their unique communication and educational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborating with educators, audiologists, and families to support student development and classroom integration

Qualifications:
- Valid Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) certification in Illinois
